It almost seems obvious, but the location is a predominant factor (as well as one of the first concerns) for any photographer. The strength of a landscape, its colors and its peculiarities are able to radically modify the personality of each portrait, making our work easier or more challenging.
La Madernassa, a resort located in Guarene, in the heart of the Roero hills, is one of those places that, even without great effort, is able to make every event even more evocative and spectacular.
Matteo and Charlotte chose La Madernassa as the location for their wedding. The elegance of the resort, combined with the love and complicity of the spouses, allowed us to create incredible wedding photographs.

Try asking anyone who lives in the area what “La Madernassa” is. Most likely, everyone will answer that it is much more than a simple resort: it is a real jewel in the heart of the hills.
Located in Guarene, a small and characteristic town located in the Roero, near the Langhe, La Madernassa comes to life in a UNESCO heritage site. Among vineyards, medieval villages, flavors and traditions, this resort is able to convey a sense of elegance and sophistication that is difficult to savor in everyday life.
The strategic position, combined with the presence of a starred restaurant led by chef Giuseppe d’Errico, makes La Madernassa a perfect location for your wedding.
A tailor-made celebration. Every single corner, every flower and every detail is carefully thought out, without giving space to chance. We know: a wedding is a unique event, which remains imprinted in the minds of the guests and the spouses for a lifetime. This is why there is no margin for error!

I admit that, with a location of this type and with the timeless beauty of the Roero hills as a backdrop, my work was incredibly spontaneous.
Matteo and Charlotte, who have lived in France for years now, requested that photographs be taken among the rows of the numerous vineyards surrounding La Madernassa. Perhaps a little nostalgic for home, perhaps because I was in love with the wonderful spectacle of the Roero, I could only accommodate their requests.
The vibrant green of the leaves and the geometricity of the rows, combined with the bucolic tranquility of the Roero hills, allowed us to shoot in an intimate, simple and romantic atmosphere.
A small gem was added to this wonderful panorama: a vintage car, located on the dirt roads overlooking the vineyards, contributed to giving a touch of “boho” to this photographic set taken in La Madernassa.
