Annie and Elliot’s wedding at Villa Mosconi Bertani – %%sitetitle%%
Lake Garda. Verona. Venice. Try saying these words when you are abroad: most people will react in amazement, they will say they want to see these dream places at least once in their lives, they will tell you how lucky you are to live there.
Villa Mosconi Bertani, located in Valpolicella, a hilly area of Veneto, is the perfect location to represent the beauty of these territories.
A short distance from Verona and Lake Garda, this building has maintained, over the years, an aristocratic and sophisticated soul.
It is no coincidence that Elliot and Annie, a married couple from the United Kingdom, chose Villa Mosconi Bertani as the location for their wedding.
Wedding at Villa Mosconi Bertani. Un set fotografico sofisticato e romantico.
Villa Mosconi Bertani dates back directly to the 16th century. Once used mainly as a cellar for the famous Valpolicella wines, over the years it has expanded its grounds to include an enchanting natural park.
Ponds, ice houses, sparkling fountains: an aristocratic and elegant location, worthy of every king. Seen from the outside, it almost looks like a palace.
Over the years, in fact, Villa Mosconi Bertani has maintained its regal and ancient appearance, becoming the perfect location for a wedding in Veneto and in full “Italian” style.
The interiors of the villa are just as spectacular as the exteriors. The main room, called “Salone delle Muse“, is entirely frescoed. It doesn’t matter where you look: you will always stumble upon some wonderful work of art.
From the colorful sky depicted on the ceiling to the sculptures, perfect in every detail: Villa Mosconi Bertani seems to have come out of an art history book.
The elegance of the place allowed me to take incredible wedding photographs!
Annie & Elliot: a princely wedding
Annie and Elliot live in the United Kingdom and chose, for their special day, to celebrate in a destination they have always loved: Italy.
Their marriage was sanctioned through a civil ceremony and with a very intimate and private ceremony, making sure they surrounded themselves only with people who really matter in their lives.
The intimacy of the event, combined with the incredible beauty of Villa Mosconi, allowed me to take an extremely elegant and refined photographic set. The ceremony, presided over by a friend and direct acquaintance of the bride and groom, was in fact held directly inside the structure.
I decided to make the most of the architecture and internal structure of the villa. Every fresco, every sculpture, every step was fundamental to making every photo special and unique.
I won’t beat around the bush: it was one of the jobs I enjoyed the most!
